So I thought I'd try my hand at some more poetry: a Senryu poem. Normally I write free verse, but a structure can be a fun challenge, and I felt the need to challenge myself.
Senryu is Haiku's hippie cousin, a little less structured and a little freer. It is a form of poetry that only uses three lines. Senryu poems often refer to emotions or some other aspect of the human condition.
I'm alive
Not Buzz, buzz, buzzing, because, cause, causing the hive
alive
